Nailextend™ is a thin, fibrous material that comes in strips that are applied onto your own nail. It is more lasting compared to those acrylic nail extensions. First adhering the Nailextend™ strips to your nail with glue, you then trim the Nailextend™ to your desired length before coating them with a clear polish.
Once your clear polish base has completely dried—hardening the loose strands and bonding them to mimic your natural nail—you can then file your new lengthened nail into your desired shape. While acrylic extensions can often be damaging to your natural nails, Nailextend™ are lauded for their ability to reinforce and strength the nail while still providing the extra length, making them a prime option for those with brittle nails.
How to do Nailextend™ :
- Step 1: After preparation of natural nail,apply base coat and fiberglass.
- Step 2: Make the sealing of fiber above and below with UV builder gel.
- Step 3: Cure nails under UV/LED lamp for 1-2mins. After few seconds, apply pinching clips to maintain the curvature
- Step 4: Remove pinching clips from nail
- Step 5: Technical sanding, this step is very important.from here the nail is already in the natural form.
